Privacy Policy

Last updated May 23, 2026

This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. Pluck is built and operated by Quassum MB, a company registered in Lithuania.

What we collect

Account information

When you sign up, we collect your name and email address through our OAuth sign-in providers (like Google or GitHub). We don't store your password — authentication is handled entirely by the provider you choose.

Usage data

We track basic usage metrics like how many plucks you've made, which copy modes you use, and when you last signed in. This helps us understand how people use Pluck and where we can improve.

Extension data

The Pluck browser extension captures component data (HTML structure, styles, and layout) from pages you choose to pluck. When you generate a prompt or Figma export, this data is processed and not stored on our servers. If you explicitly submit feedback through the extension (for example, when something doesn't work), we store the captured component data alongside your feedback so we can investigate.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Polar. We don't see or store your full card number. Polar handles all payment data under their own privacy policy.

How we use your data

We use the data we collect to:

  • Run your account and deliver the Pluck service
  • Track your usage against your plan limits
  • Send important account emails (like billing confirmations)
  • Improve Pluck based on how people use it

We don't sell your data.

Third parties

We share data only with the services needed to run Pluck — payment processing, email delivery, hosting, OAuth sign-in, and ad-conversion measurement (only with your consent in the EEA/UK/CH).

See our subprocessors page for the current list of providers, their roles, and links to each one's data processing agreement.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your consent choice. If you accept, we also load Google Ads to measure conversions from our advertising — this sets third-party advertising cookies. Visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland are asked before any advertising cookies are set, and you can decline. Our analytics (Umami, self-hosted) is cookieless and runs either way.

See our cookie list for the exact cookies we set, their purpose, and how long each lasts.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days. Some anonymized usage data may be retained for analytics.

To request data deletion, email us at info@quassum.com.

Children's privacy

Pluck is not intended for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Pluck after changes means you accept the updated policy.
